TDCmaps is a set of web browser based GIS (Geographic Information System) services, they allow you to view, query data from the various geographic data layers held at Tandridge District Council. They are designed as a means for you to access multiple layers of information in a common and understandable format.

By entering this site you are agreeing to the following conditions on this page. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms of use, please do not use the Service.
Tandridge District Council provides this service for information purposes only. The Council seeks to provide information of the highest standard and every attempt has been made to present up to date and accurate information. However, the Council cannot be held responsible for the misuse or misinterpretation of any information and offers no warranty to its accuracy or completeness. The Council accepts no liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of reliance on this information. The Council recommends that you independently verify the accuracy, currency, reliability or suitability of any map or information made available via this service and upon which you intend to rely. The Council may for security and technical reasons at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice to you, prohibit or restrict access to the service.

Please Note
The building control information displayed on TDCmaps relates to building regulation applications post January 2000 only.
If you would like a copy of the building regulations approval document/completion certificate (if applicable) please contact Building Control on 01883 732871/732852 or email buildingcontrol@tandridge.gov.uk quoting your application number and the property address and we will be pleased to provide this information to you at no charge. (Please note that this can take up to five working days.)
Competent Persons Scheme information is not contained on TDCmaps and hard copy certificates are not held by the building control section. However, you may like to visit the following external link www.communities.gov.uk and search under Competent Persons Schemes for further information.

TDCmaps gives access to information about the location of TPOs and includes some detail of their content. However, if a new TPO has been made, or modified very recently, the TDCmaps system may not reflect these changes. Therefore before carrying out any work to trees you should first check with the Council’s Tree Section to obtain the most up to date information. A property may also be located in a conservation area, or be affected by a tree related planning condition that restricts the removal of trees.

The Aerial Photography included with this service has been supplied by Cities Revealed(r) Copyright by The GeoInformation(r) Group, 2003 and Crown Copyright (c) All rights reserved.

Flood risk information used for Land Charge search purposes is based on data supplied by the Environment Agency (EA) and adopted by the Council in 2001. The EA has subsequently revised its flood zones and therefore you are advised to check the current situation on: www.environment-agency.gov.uk (external website).

It is important to note that English Heritage spatial data is provided for indication purposes only. The data was captured against Ordnance Survey digital mapping products under licence. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the depiction, the data may have originally been captured against a different edition of the Ordnance Survey map to that currently available. Please bear this in mind when interpreting the location of the designated feature and any constraint boundary. The spatial data should never be viewed or printed at any scale larger than the scale of capture indicated in the attributes for each feature (CAPTURE_SC). If you have a query as to the location of a designated monument, site or building or the extent of a specific constraint area, please contact the appropriate English Heritage Regional Office - a list is available on our website.

The raw data supplied to you is English Heritage. English Heritage cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of any maps or other products made by you based on this data.

For general information about designations, please visit the English Heritage website http://www.english-heritage.org.uk (external website).

If you are undertaking a desk-based assessment, we would strongly recommend that prior to commencement of work on any site more detailed research is undertaken to include a search for records of other archaeological features potentially affected by the development. The National Monuments Record holds data on around 400,000 archaeological/historical sites recorded from fieldwork or documentary sources. We also hold an equivalent number of entries for listed buildings in a separate database

Local Historic Environment Records (HERs/Sites and Monuments Records) are also a key source of information. An HER address list is available online http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.1549 (external website)

Please note that the land parcels that this system uses are schematic and in no way relate to land ownership. Issues of land ownership should be taken up with HM Land registry at Land Registry (external website).

Issues relating to planning, building control, conservation and trees should always be checked with Council officers before any works are carried out.
